The First Wave: Crone
Interestingly, some suffragists were also spiritualists, and mediumship has long been a vehicle for the power of the female voice; both revered and feared, she is no mere vessel.
More of an intuitive piece. Roe v Wade. WITCH: many women formed protest covens on various topics, such as Women Inspired to Tell their Collective History. The corn dolly rests in a fetal position, the red cord knotted in the three waves — three generations of women and beyond, the cord is very much like an umbilical cord wrapped around the jar — a matrilineal tie between all women as well. Queen Anne's lace and red clover rest at the dolly's back, which encourage menses.
The Third Wave: Maiden
Remember that time witches cursed Trump? Yep. Witches representing the third wave. 👋 A pearl sewing pin, belonging to a friend's Nana, pierces the "neon carrot" at the tip, splitting it. It rests on a bed of pins, nails, screws, tacks, Xacto blades, broken glass, etc. A rooster crows, attempts to hold up the carrot. Ink and vinegar swish in the bottom of the jar as if waiting for sister-witches to add their piece to the curse jar.
